Katie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Bryant College. She comes to Nicola Yester with more than 30 years of experience in public and private accounting.

Katie started her career at Blum Shapiro in 1993, working in a wide variety of industries. In 2003, Katie moved to private industry, working in internal audit and positions with responsibility for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, primarily in the insurance industry. In 2008, Katie returned to public accounting with Federman, Lally & Remis LLC in Farmington, CT.
Katie is a member of the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
